End of lockdown…really?

Today, 11th Oct is meant to be the start of ‘Freedom’ day for NSW. However, many venues and clubs are STILL not reinstating live music. In fact my duo booking for Petersham RSL on 17/10 has been CANCELLED. Why?

Yet Covid payments have been stopped this week so once again the arts and entertainment industry has been left stranded.

There is however a promise of a new booking at the Georges River Sailing club on 30/10 which I do hope goes ahead! It’s a very long way out of the woods for artists and I fear it will still be some months if we ever get back to what was once ‘normal’.
