Ghosted Winter greetings

It’s the middle of August but from where I am in the south of Sydney, you’d swear it was spring already! It’s been pleasantly but unseasonally warm here. In fact, I have not even turned the AC on for heating once yet this winter! It concerns me a tad about what we might be in for this summer.

August is very busy so winter has not had an effect on shows this month, with 6 band gigs and one solo, it’s also an unusual ratio. I’m sure it will all turn around again from September.

This Friday the 14th my other band ‘Retromania’ will hit the Shire with our retro show at Club Cronulla! It’s gonna be a nostalgic dance party and a lot of fun!! Hope you can make it. Dust off your old flares, platforms and sequins for this one!

My side projects have been put on a backburner for this month due to all the live shows. Like the elusive book LOL and digital course material. I am in the final month of completing my music licensing course however, and that has also commanded much more time and dedication than first thought. But I have already been making live video contacts with key music supervisors in the US and pitching them my songs for their projects. It’s just a matter of time until I have the right song for the scene they are looking to fill. Who knows, you could be hearing one of my songs during a major TV series, over end credits, in an ad or even a movie!

That is the goal anyway.
