Feb/Mar update

The months are racing by as ever and with so many projects on the boil it’s no wonder I get overwhelmed! This was meant to be the year I pare things back but not a chance!

Both bands are heating up with more show dates, solo/duo ones remain steady and that new music course I started well, I’m way behind with it already.

11th March sees the first anniversary and memorial for Gizmo, I can’t believe it’s been a year now since he passed and I’ve had to adjust to living without him and his beautiful smile, his welcoming bark and loyal company. I’ve been offered other dogs twice now, but the time isn’t right just yet. I would love another doggy for sure one day soon when I’m perhaps not so busy and out so much!

This week sees the end of Summer and I don’t know about you, but I will welcome some relief of cooler temps from these humid days and especially nights. I’m much preferring the mid seasons now of Autumn and Spring!

This week I also am seeing one of my big musical influences, Bernard Fanning, in concert for the 20th Anniversary of his Tea & Sympathy album. Brilliant work and songs, songwriting, I feel we are on the same path in that sense. Looking forward to that!

Speaking of anniversaries, I am yet to herald and celebrate the same with any of my albums which is crazy and rather a missed opportunity. I so need an admin assistant! I do hope to celebrate my past albums, they so deserve it.
