Singing and vocal performance
Whether you just want to sing for your own pleasure or dream of being a singer on stage with a career in music, all aspects are covered
from diction, breathing, timing, and rhythm, microphone technique, pitching. Learn to sing without stress or fear in a relaxed studio with a friendly and experienced female teacher using the THROGA techniques.
We can also cover working on stage in varied situations, how to read charts, how to memorise lyrics and music for optimal performance, guiding a band to get the sound you want and directing them.
Learn how to break into the music industry if that is your ambition whether it be musical theatre, pop music, cabaret or with a band.
Preparation for auditions and talent quests can be included for both children and adults.
Guitar – beginner to intermediate
Specialising in the absolute beginner, lessons in guitar playing are also available, acoustic or electric. You will learn to read music notation on guitar, general music theory, also chords and some finger picking styles.
Styles: rock, pop, folk, jazz, country, some blues.
Purchase cost of guitar tuition book not included and is an essential part of the training method.
If you are a budding songwriter but need help with direction I can show you how to unlock ideas for writing and get them on paper.
Includes song structure, lyrics, rhyme and melody.
Qualifications and Experience
I have over 20 years experience as a singer, songwriter and professional musician performing as solo, duo, trio and also working with many bands including managing and directing my own band and currently an 8 piece production show. I perform on a regular basis at clubs, hotels, festivals & functions here and overseas.
I hold a Diploma in Writing and Cert IV in Music Management along with TAFE music courses and AMEB music theory. I have had training in classical vocal, modern vocal and guitar tuition.
In 2012 I spent a year studying vocal techniques, ear training and sight singing at the Sydney Conservatorium of Music, University of Sydney.
I am an Advanced fully certified ‘THROGA’ (throat yoga) teacher, a method of vocal training from New York that incorporates science, vocal anatomy and the voice and I use this method to train voice.
I have won many awards including Female Vocalist of the Year and many nominations and awards for my original songs.
I am currently signed to 3 publishing contracts and have released 4 CD’s of my own material with radio airplay both here and overseas.

All lessons are conducted in a relaxed, safe and fully equipped studio. Locations are at Mascot, Botany NSW or in the comfort of your home, Sydney eastern area or via Skype worldwide!. Beginners to advanced, children’s and adults.
