Oktoberfest and other news!
Hello dear friends,
Spring is in the air and the days are getting warmer at last. It’s perfect for getting out and about to see some live music and there’s plenty coming up!
Oktoberfest is happening at many venues, the traditional German festival that actually starts in September in Munich, and is a wonderful time if you ever get to go. I enjoyed celebrations myself with a trad German band, giant pretzels and German beer.
One of the highlights this month is performing with The Pink Chevy’s at ‘Chromefest’ on Sunday the 25th at Top Town Stage, The Entrance on the Central Coast. Filled with vintage cars and vehicles, rock n roll bands and lots of stalls and entertainment for the whole family, it will be a lot of fun! We are on at 11.30am until 2pm. Check out more details here;
In other exciting news..one of my fave all time bands ‘POWDERFINGER’ are reuniting to tour Australia again in 2027 after 16 years since their farewell concert. And I have scored tickets!!!! So excited to be hearing and seeing them perform all the old classics again over many decades of recording!!!
I’m making some changes to the website too. Now when anyone signs up, notification will come direct to me instead of Mailchimp. It just wasn’t working for me so this way I won’t miss a single sign up and will know straight away without delay and can chat direct with subscribers.
I will soon be ordering more stock of merchandise for you, my loyal fans. The stubby holders have proven a hit and key rings have also been suggested. There is also another interview that is out from Aldora Britain Records, interviewed by Tom Hilton reflecting on my very first album, ‘This Passion’ which was about 25 years ago now, wow! I will put a link to that up in the next post and also on my Facebook feed. It’s a very in-depth interview which is Tom’s style. He likes to dig deep into artists minds!
Lastly, my second band ‘Retromania’ are gaining traction with more gig dates coming up particularly around the Shire areas and out west in 2027. Be sure to to check the ‘SHOWS’ icon for dates for all bands and lineups and come along for a great night of retro hits from the 70’s to 90’s.
After so many years of performing, I never take for granted the wonderful people like you who come along to my shows, buy my music and merch and continue to support me. So a big THANK YOU!!
Your smiles, carefree dancing, singing along and kind words mean more than you know and keep me motivated to continue. Thank you for being part of my musical journey.
Keep smiling, singing, dancing and making great new memories!
Much love,
