Vale Gizmo/ Album anniversary

Last month has been a dreadfully sad one for me, after having to say goodbye to my beautiful, loyal companion, ‘My White Shadow’ Gizmo.

We had over 13 wonderful years together and he brought me such joy. I’m still adjusting to trying to live life without him. I hope he had an equally wonderful life with me, I have many great memories of him. He is in my video clips, my merch and 2 songs off the album being “My White Shadow: and also Position Vacant (PS Must Love Dogs) which features his actual bark.

You can listen to them right here on the website, as my tribute to him.

Meanwhile, It’s also hard to believe that today (4th April) marks the one year anniversary of the release of ‘Making Memories’ album. Wow, that has flown!

Why does time go quicker as we get older? You think it would slow down, or maybe we all need to just slow down and enjoy life more.

Promotion for the album and songs are still happening, with some more radio interviews and podcasts coming up soon. Including the 3 hour podcast of the interview with Ross Fear on Australian Spectrum show, Alive 90.5FM. I will put that up in the next post.

In other news, I have been working with a new band for a while, ‘Retromania’. Playing songs from my fave era, 70’s to 90’s pop and rock hits. Our first gig is a showcase at Oatley Hotel on Friday April 11.

Come along to lend some friendly support for our first show!

Until next post, take care.
